About the project
A Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project designed to supply treated water for oil injection and extraction at the Al Zubair oil field, with a flow capacity ranging from 350 to 750 KBWPD.
Key components
- Preliminary treatment via Lamella clarifiers
- Primary treatment using Densadeg clarifiers (5,000 m³/hr capacity)
- Sludge thickeners
- Advanced treatment: UF, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and deaeration tower
- Pumping station at MOD intake
- 20 km GRP pipeline (DN 1000) to water-treatment plant
- 1.2 km HDPE (DN 600) to DGS North
- 7.2 km HDPE (DN 600) to HAMMAR IP
